Spring Favourites

It feels like spring is finally here with the weather being brighter and our garden finally beginning to bloom! With the onset of sunnier days, I thought I’d share some of my favourites that I have been loving over the past few weeks 🙂

First up – this Mango lady jacket. I have been full on obsessed with this jacket. I love it so much! I am very much on board with the lady jacket trend and this one nails it so well. It’s such a great fit and is so wearable; it genuinely looks great with everything from a pair of jeans through to tailored trousers or over a dress. I love it so much that I bought the white version as well – a complete wardrobe staple for me recently. I took a size XS for reference.

In terms of the perfect transitional dress, I’m pretty sure this is it. The loveliest, simple black maxi – I love the fact that this can be dressed up or down and looks as great with some fancy jewellery as it does with a simple denim or biker jacket. I did size down in this one and got a UK 6 which fits perfectly (I’m usually a UK size 8-10).

I’m not usually much of a mini dress girl anymore but as soon as I saw this dress, I fell in love! It definitely has Chanel vibes and has the prettiest detailing; from the cross hatch texture to the shiny gold buttons that pop so beautifully against the gold. So chic without being too structured or stuffy. I went for a UK size 10 for reference and it fits perfectly.

This has got to be one of my favourite dress buys of the season. I wore this so many times when we were in Barbados – it’s so incredibly flattering and is so easy to throw on for the perfect simple-but-still-chic outfit. It is linen but it doesn’t crease too badly at all (and I have a really low tolerance for this!) and it’s just my favourite thing. I took a size US 6 for reference.

The tiny hearts line from Monica Vinader has been my latest obsession. I got the hammered gold necklace version last year and it’s been a firm favourite ever since so I was so excited to see the line released in a diamond version! I have both the necklace (that I’m wearing as I type this!) as well as the bracelet (pictured above) and both are the cutest things. The perfect amount of sparkle and just as pretty by themselves as they are layered with other pieces.

My discount code with Monica Vinader is also still live so you can nab 20% off with the code AMIER20

This bikini was another holiday favourite. I feel like finding a great white bikini is SO hard but this one is fantastic. It’s completely opaque (even when wet), is so comfortable and flattering and washes really well as well. I also love the little gold hardware accents on the straps! Sadly I lost this swimsuit after the first week (I left it to dry on the balcony on our first air bnb – doh!) but promptly ordered another as soon as I got back. You can find the top here and the bottoms here.

This Zimmermann dress stole my heart as soon as I saw it! I’ve worn it twice already and am already trying to figure out when I can wear it again haha. It’s just gorgeous! It is linen but doesn’t crease too badly at all and the cut is simply gorgeous. It’s fitted in the bust area but has a full skirt which has a fair bit of structure to it so it flares out beautifully. It’s just one of those pieces that you can put on and instantly feel great in. I took a size 1.

Back at home, the Saint Laurent 5 a 7 Supple bag has definitely been one of my biggest bag favourites recently. My day to day bags are usually totes bags so the hobo style is a really nice refreshing change and I love how under the radar the bag can be. It’s incredibly comfortable to wear too and of course, fits a ton. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a practical but chic everyday bag.

And that’s it for this little spring favourites round-up – thank you for reading!!
