I did get quite a few questions about buying from MyTheresa if you’re in the United States. I’m obviously based in Europe so I haven’t had the experience directly but I do know that all customs and taxes are included in the price at checkout (as well as broken down so you can clearly see what you’re paying). The normal retail price should match normal prices for any given item in the US, but obviously with the discount code, you should be saving quite a bit.
Returns are super easy too – they used to refund customs and taxes in the form of a gift card but they’ve recently changed this so you get the full amount back onto your card.

Hi Ellen! The duties and taxes are all included at checkout. I haven’t looked at every country but the pieces I checked on for the US have the same regular price as normal department stores, i.e. Neiman Marcus, Nordstorm etc. So with the discount, it’s definitely cheaper 🙂
The discount code for $500 off of $2000 for the USA doesn’t work..
I just tested it and it seemed to work for me. Keep in mind that it has to be off the selection of items provided and the code is SINGLES500 if you have the min $2000 spend 🙂
I live in the Middle East which is technically under Asia but these codes don’t work. It’s so heartbreaking 🙁

Thank you for all your great blog posts and videos. I am from Switzerland and we are mostly excluded from sales, because we’re not in the EU.
I have done a lot of research on the Saint Laurent WOC and decided to purchase it from Selfridges in the UK. Should I wait until Black Friday or is it not likely that it will be included in the sale then?
So it’s always difficult to tell what will be included but in the past, I don’t recall there being a lot of Saint Laurent discounted in the Selfridges sale. The SL WOCs in particular are often excluded from sales because of their popularity.
That said, if you did want to hold out in the hopes of a discount, your best bet might be Browns Fashion. Last year, they did a 20% off sitewide discount and they have a fair amount of Saint Laurent stock 🙂
I know you have been mentioning Saint Laurent quite a bit (which I love because they’re my favorite) so I thought if you wanted to include Canadian subscribers that often aren’t included in discount codes in one of your posts you could mention that Saks would be the best option for Saint Laurent purchases in Canada. Saks offers discount codes multiple time each month and although there are plenty of brand exclusions Saint Laurent is never one of them. For Canadian Saint Laurent lovers my suggestion would be 1)wait a week or two until you see your next Saks promo 2) wait until your next European adventure
