The Mini Skirt

I’m not much of a mini skirt wearer anymore but I thought I would mix it up for a change – that, and I wanted another excuse to wear my favourite boots! I love the mix of white and black for winter; it’s just so easy and classic. My skirt is from J Crew but looks like it’s sold out now, I linked some similar ones above.

I paired it with one of my all-time favourite sweaters that I feel like I go on about endlessly and my new biker jacket which I have been loving even more than I thought I would! It’s seriously the perfect fit – I got it in an extra small and despite what the reviews say, I think it fits true to size.

On a completely separate note, I can’t believe there’s only a few more days left until Christmas! I’m so excited for this year, I feel like a little kid again. Who knew that hosting Christmas would be so exciting!? The only things I have left to do are to wrap the stocking presents and to try and track down a dessert for our Christmas Eve dinner. In London, this may be a challenge (everything seems sold out already!) so wish me luck! 🙂
