This was one review that I was really excited about, mostly because this bag was such a surprise to me. I impulsed purchased my Gucci Soho Disco, which as I explain in the video, is a pretty uncharacteristic thing for me to do – I’m generally pretty good and researching and thoroughly considering my bag purchases. The price point and the fact that I stumbled across this gorgeous pink colour convinced me to take the plunge though and I have been loving it ever since.
Not only does it look the part – the gorgeous pebbled leather and lovely little details like the tassle zip pull and elegant muted gold hardware combine to make one gorgeous bag – but it’s also wonderfully functional too. It packs a ton – as demonstrated in the video – but never feels ‘too full’ and somehow, magically, structures your contents so everything is easy to find. The zipper pull isn’t the smoothest I’ve encountered, admittedly, but this is a relatively minor point.
I get asked a lot about the colour – I bought mine from Flannels and they have since sold out of that colour online. However I was looking on the Gucci website whilst researching this post and it appears that a very similar, if not the same colour, is available online to purchase. Link here! They’re describing it as a ‘rose beige leather’ which sounds pretty much spot on.
This bag comes in one size and dimensions are as follows:
Width: 21cm x Height: 15cm x Depth: 7cm
I’ve been using mine pretty consistently since I bought it and it’s come everywhere with me from Disneyland to the movies to errand running in London. It’s held up remarkably well and crucially, I don’t worry about it which I thought I might with the light colour. It is so fuss free and carefree whilst still looking totally luxe and chic in my opinion.
If you’re interested in this bag and are hesitating about taking the plunge, I would highly recommend it. It’s a fantastic bag, and for the price point, it’s as close to a bargain as I think you can get in the luxury bag world! I really struggle to think of any bags less than £700 which I consider as nice or as functional as the Soho Disco and I really can’t think of any negatives to this wonderful little bag.
Thank you so much for reading and watching!
