I pre-recorded a review on my Chanel mini just before I left for holiday having just rediscovered my love for this little bag. I broke my usual rule of not taking expensive bags on holiday with me and I’ve got to say: best decision ever! Granted, I was already pretty in love but this mini has been working over time in the last couple of weeks.
I took my Gucci Soho as well but unfortunately, it was pretty redundant for the first week as I just kept reaching for my Chanel mini! It went with every outfit and fit the basic essentials I needed for every trip and occasion.
After being a large bag girl for so long, it’s so refreshing to downsize. If I needed any more convincing, after a week of using this mini every day, I used my Neverfull for one outing and my shoulder started aching! I feel like this is a slippery slope 🙂
Above all though, I love the look of this bag – classic Chanel without the weight or the bulk, it’s the perfect luxury accent to any outfit without being too in your face. This combo – the black caviar with gold hardware is perfect for me as well – I absolutely adore the sturdiness of the caviar and the GHW adds an ultra luxe touch. That said, I would definitely be open to adding a lambskin option in the future 🙂

So sorry for the late reply! I only just spotted this. Honestly, I don't have an absolute favourite – I think they all have positive and negative points. I got this one from VideDressing and for a while I bought a lot from there because of the cheaper Chanel prices and favourable exchange rate. Now that the Chanel price increase in Europe has happened, the deals are less great. I also look at Vestiaire Collective and eBay still – although eBay can be risky and the VC fees are very high which makes getting good deals tough. It tends to be more dependent on where I can find the item I like though 🙂 I'll do a video or blog post about the topic in more depth in future!

Hi! I'm afraid I don't have an item number – I bought this preloved. Item numbers tend to change with each season and variation though so an older model wouldn't help you much. Chanel have done square minis in caviar with GHW recently so if you just have a picture and show it to your SA, then she should be able to recognise what you're looking for.
