It’s that time of year again – the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has finally arrived! I look forward to this sale all year long so I am so excited that it’s finally here! This year did not disappoint with so much good stuff included in the sale. I always use this sale to stock up on trusty favourites like my favourite AG jeans and to score some cute statement pieces but this year I pretty much bought a whole new wardrobe!
I was in desperate need of so many replacement items due to losing a fair bit of weight in the past few months (I haven’t forgotten about the weight loss video I promised btw! It’s coming before the end of the month 🙂 ). So I’ve been impatiently waiting to buy a few more pairs of jeans, leggings, tops etc. I will of course be doing a big try on haul, albeit I may need to split it into two videos at this rate! But below is a complete list of everything I ordered in case you don’t want to wait 🙂
- Madewell Pink Plaid Scarf // 2. Black Lace Camisole // 3. Black tie Up Top // 4. Billabong floral tie blouse // 5. Pink Cocoon Sweater // 6. J Crew Navy Blazer // 7. Barefoot Dreams Cardigan // 8. Red Wrap Dress
PRINTED TOPS AND DRESSES
- Blue pleated top // 2. Red off the shoulder dress // 3. Lace Printed Camisole // 4. Purple Bodycon Dress
First up are printed tops and dresses! There are always a few summer appropriate items sprinkled in amongst all the Autumn pieces and this year I went for this adorable off the shoulder dress as well as this pretty spin on the basic lace cami.
High up on my list of items to buy were some good day-to-night dresses and I instantly fell in love with this Theory one and this super pretty dress with side ruching. The jury is still out whether I could wear the latter in a work setting but I thought it was cute enough to take the risk!
- 1.state chiffon camisole // 2. Ladies Who Brunch T-Shirt // 3. Lilac Crew Neck Sweater // 4. White V-Neck Sweater//
Now for some more casual tops. I mainly bought plainer tops as that was what needed replacing most and I’ve bought plenty of statement tops in the past few months. A nice white cami is always welcome in my wardrobe and this one seemed to fit the bill nicely whereas this crew neck sweater looked perfect for teaming with skirts. I also bought my annual Sub-Urban Riot t-shirt (they’re the best for lounging around in!), and I fell in love with this ‘Ladies who brunch’ version.
- White T-Shirt // 2. Grey Ribbed T-Shirt // 3. BP Scoop Neck Long Sleeved Tee // 4. Waffle Knit Cardigan //
This isn’t a very exciting row but it was absolutely necessary – I don’t really know how to get dressed without good basics so I’ve been looking forward to getting some solid replacements. BP always does great options that are cheap and cheerful so I bought another of these as well as a simple white t-shirt. I then went for this cosy looking waffle knit cardigan and a nice fitted almost-bodycon t-shirt.
This row is a little miscellaneous but I opted for this pretty blouse, the perfect autumn plaid shirt, some much-needed new PJs (these ones had amazing reviews!) and I couldn’t this gorgeous oatmeal coloured Theory coat.
I bought mainly jeans as I’m down to only two pairs that properly fit at this point so am hoping that these are going to be winners. I’ve never tried either of these brands before but these Kut From The Kloth ones and DL1961 ones looked so great on the models that I’m hoping they’ll be just as great in real life! I also couldn’t resist this festive-ready red skirt and gorgeous suede mini.
- Yummie High Waist Leggings // 2. Alo Yoga Leggings // 3. Citizens of Humanity Jeans // 4. Tie Front Pants
And finally for clothes, I picked up another pair of daily leggings (I was mainly swayed by the amazing reviews – people seem to love these), and I splurged on a pair of Alo Yoga leggings that I’ve been wanting to try for ages. I also went for this pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans and thought this pair of camel coloured of pants/ trousers (depending on where you’re from!) looked super cute.
And of course I couldn’t resist Nordstrom’s selection of boots. I went for the grey version of the black ones I bought last year because I love them so much and have given these gorgeous Sam Edelman knee boots a try. I was also so excited to see an updated style of my favourite 1.State pump so went for them in two colourways including this stunning leopard print version.
- Nike Rose Sneakers // 2. 1.state Suede Pumps // 3. Cole Haan Loafer Mules // 4. Louise et Cie Bow Mules //
I also treated myself to a beautiful new pair of running shoes in an attempt to keep me motivated in my fitness goals post-wedding as well as two pairs of my favourite style of summer shoe – the loafer/ mule, one in a pale pink and the other with this gorgeous statement bow.
And finally, three totally non-essential purchases that I decided to go for anyway because YOLO right? (I can already imagine Dan rolling his eyes at me if he reads this!). I thought this statement necklace was so pretty and looked way pricier than it was and also adored these beautiful earrings. I think last year I managed to resist buying a bag but clearly my resolve wasn’t happening two years in a row as I spotted this gorgeous light pink tote – I am a huge Tory Burch tote fan anyway so when this colour popped up, it was a done deal!
NORDSTROM GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY!
I’m also so excited to be doing a giveaway! I’m giving away a $300 Nordstrom gift card for one lucky winner! The giveaway will be open for 10 days (ending on Sunday 22nd July 2018) and it will be a e-gift card so you can shop the sale straight away!

I have also done a fairly comprehensive round-up of tried and tested favourites from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that I already own and love if you fancy a watch. I cover everything from must-have denim to life-changing beauty picks!
And that’s it for this round up! If you’re curious to know what things look like in person, I will have my haul video going up in one week’s time on my YouTube channel where I try on everything I ordered! As I mentioned it may take me a while so I may have to split into two videos/ mix up with some styling videos 🙂
