Double Mulberry Reveal! Cara and Bayswater Unboxings!

New Year = New Bags right? I’m pretty sure that’s how it goes… Mulberry is one of the original brands that made me fall in love with handbags and after ignoring them for oh… about 10 years, I’ve finally rediscovered the brand! Instead of dipping my toe in the Mulberry waters, I decided to plunge head first with not one but two new handbags. I do explain in my reveal video that I’m not generally a fan of buying two bags at once (each needs its own ‘special moment’ you see…) but as there was a sale on, I was a bit pushed for time. I decided to opt for both and then to decide later….

Only it seems like ‘later’ never really came, after I fell hard after them both! I did end up exchanging the Cara for a different one as some slight creasing on one side of the bag began bothering me and I’ve got to commend Mulberry’s customer service. After years of terrible service from Louis Vuitton and distinctly hot and cold service from Chanel, Mulberry is a complete breath of fresh air.

I’ve included one more snap of my new purchase from a slightly different angle (because, obviously, this is important) here:

And if you fancy, you can watch my reveal here:

As always, thank you so much for reading and watching!

Hello lovely! I've just followed you on bloglovin', I was the one who left the comment on the giveaway video asking how you would explain to my boyfriend why you prefer designer handbags over highstreet alternatives, which seems like a ridiculous question when you look at the pictures of that Bayswater, just gorgeous! No wonder you had to buy the two. Lots of love. Xxx

That Bayswater is absolutely gorgeous! No wonder why you ended up buying it. Looks so fresh and cute compared to the oak colour.

Thank you! I totally agree, I think colour completely lifts the style! 🙂

The bayswater is such an excellent choice. Dress it up, dress it down, it looks fabulous either way. I got mine a week before Christmas as a gift to myself for making it through an especially hectic final quarter at work and I've used it practically everyday since. And I know what you mean about the oak colour, although lovely with age it still feels a little drab. With such a classic heritage silhouette it really does fall on the colour of the bag to elevate it and make it look more polished and chic. I hope you're enjoying it and I can't wait to see more Instagram posts of it, not to mention a video at some point.

Couldn't agree more! And so happy for you that you bought one last year! Nothing like rewarding yourself with something special 🙂 I'm impatiently waiting for my bag liner to arrive before using mine… literally itching to take it out! So glad you're getting lots of use out of yours, makes me even more excited to use mine!

Mulberry customer service is totally on point. They are absolutely lovely, every single time. I can't say that about any other luxury brand. LV is the absolute worst, I haven't had a single pleasant experience with them, not one. Perhaps you can use that as a topic for your next youtube video, "Best and worst luxury store experiences" I'm sure people would love to hear about that.

Hi Meeta! I am totally with you on that! Louis Vuitton customer service is so often terrible, it's such a shame because I love their items. Mulberry has been so wonderful in comparison, I really can't say enough good things!

    Hi Aime! 🙂
I’m curious what your current thinking is with respect to the Bayswater: New JC belted design or classic? (If you have opinions on which you think may be a better investment, I’d be interested in that too!)
Thanks for any consideration! And thanks for all of your wonderful posts. 🙂

PS…I’m having the *worst* time deciding! I would use it for an upcoming interview and work more generally. Thanks again for any help with this super important life decision. 🙂 🙂
